Pearl Harbor is the site of the famous World War II attack on the U.S.S. Arizona is now converted into a World War II Memorial park.

Pearl Harbor is a lagoon harbor west of Honolulu in Oahu, Hawaii.

Most of the harbor and surrounding lands is a United States Navy naval base.

The U.S.S. Arizona is still visible from the surface of the water, and the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial is built over its final resting place as a testament to the men buried below.

The U.S.S. Arizona Memorial is the centerpiece of the Pearl Harbor experience.

- If you want to pick up tickets the day of your visit for the USS Arizona Program, then

  - 1,300 tickets available daily from 7 AM HST on a First-Come-First-Served basis

- We recommend making a reservation if you are planning to visit, as they are often out of tickets by mid-morning!

- Advance Tickets are available online or through the call center daily from 7 AM HST.

  Advanced bookings available 2 months in advance, or for Next Day Tickets

 

At Pearl Harbor, 3 Tour packages are available :

- USS Arizona Memorial- FREE,

- USS Arizona Memorial Narrated Tour- for a small fee.

  This reservation includes a free, timed USS Arizona Memorial program ticket and an audio headset for the narrated tour.  
 
  The audio tour headsets are available in the courtyard of the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center.

  An audio tour is available in:

  + English, French, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, German, Spanish, Italian, and Russian, and

  + will even automatically translate the 23-minute documentary film into each language.

For a small fee, Passport to Pearl Harbor includes a free, timed USS Arizona Memorial program ticket.

  In addition, the Passport covers the cost of admission to all of:

  USS Bowfin Submarine Museum and Park, the Battleship Missouri Memorial, and the Pacific Aviation Museum.

  The Passport also includes the USS Arizona narrated tour.

Be Aware: If you purchase the Passport, please plan to be here for the whole day.

It takes 6-8 hours to make the most of your ticket and see all of Pearl Harbor National Monument sites.

Recommended check-in time is between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM.

If you don't finish the tour in one day, the Passport can be used for a second day within a consecutive seven-day period.

To extend your Passport, check in to the Pearl Harbor Historic Sites ticket counter, located in the courtyard of the Visitor Center.

USS Arizona Memorial Program runs from 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM

The Pearl Harbor Visitor Center (WWII Valor in the Pacific National Monument) is closed three days a year.

1). Thanksgiving Day

2). December 25

3). January 1

Programs to the USS Arizona Memorial run about 1 hour and 15 minutes and include:

- 23-minute documentary film in our Pearl Harbor Visitor Center theater

- Boat ride to the memorial

- About 10-15 minutes at the memorial

- Boat ride back to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center

Timed programs to the USS Arizona Memorial :

- Programs run every 15 minutes starting at 7:30 a.m.

- No programs run at 12:15 p.m. and 12:30 p.m.

- The last timed program is at 3:00 p.m.

Please be aware that boat rides out to the USS Arizona Memorial are sometimes suspended or canceled due to high winds. 

This decision is made by the U.S. Navy, which operates the boats to the memorial.

The USS Oklahoma Memorial and USS Utah Memorial are both located on Ford Island.

Visitors can access the USS Oklahoma Memorial via a shuttle from the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center.

However, the USS Utah Memorial is not available to the public via shuttle.

Access is currently limited to visitors who have military base access.

By Car to Pearl Harbor Visitor Center : (from Waikiki)

- Take Ala Moana Blvd./Nimitz Highway or H-1 West. While on H-1, look for exit 15A, marked "Arizona Mem./Stadium".

Note: Do not take the "Hickam AFB/Pearl Harbor" exit.
         This will take you to the active military base, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.

- Once you exit 15A, continue on HI-99 (Kamehameha Highway) and turn left at the 4th traffic light onto Arizona Memorial Place.

- At the base of the hill, turn right to find parking in one of our available lots.

By TheBus to Pearl Harbor Visitor Center : (from Waikiki)

- From anywhere in Waikiki or the Ala Moana Shopping Center, take the #20 or #42 public bus (called TheBus).
- Exit bus at the USS Arizona Memorial Visitor Center stop.

If you’re not sure where to get off, ask the driver.

Recommendations

 

- Any bags or purses are not allowed due to security reasons inside this National Monument.
  There is a paid locker for your stuff for a small fee, or you can leave it in the trunk of your car.

- It is highly recommended that you arrive at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center early in the morning before 7:00 am to get same-day tickets.

- If you are going to multiple attractions in the Honolulu area, we suggest buying a “Go Oahu” card by Smart Destinations.   
  The go card covers the USS Arizona Memorial Narrated Tour, USS Bowfin Submarine, Battleship Missouri, and Pacific Aviation Museum.
  Please make reservations for the USS Arizona Memorial.

- We recommend taking the Waikiki Trolley Purple line if you want to do a self-tour of Pearl Harbor and don't have Car.

- If you are looking for a tour with Hotel Pick-up and Drop-off, then go for:
