Getting to India Gate in New Delhi |
By Delhi Metro Railway to India Gate: - Take the Blue line to Pragati Maidan station (near the Supreme Court of India) - The station is about 1.5 km from the India gate - You can walk but we suggest catching a rickshaw or taxi from the metro station to the India Gate for a more comfortable ride. If you are feeling confident about the Delhi DTC Buses, then- - you can also take bus 405 STL going to Sunehri Pullah Depot from the Pragati Maidan Gate No.5 - Exit the stop at India Gate. - Remember to enter from the back of the bus and have small cash on hand to pay the conductor for your ticket. - Take Delhi Metro Yellow or Violet line to Central Secretariat station. - Take a taxi or rickshaw from Central Secretariat station to the India Gate.
